The Balcones Songbird Festival is a annual 4 day community event with expert birding and nature tours of the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.The refuge offers some of the best bird watching and habitat left in Texas. Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge has more than 215 bird species part or all year.

Sunday afternoon is 'Family Day' with educational children’s activities, entertainment, food, and, most of all, fun for the whole family. Like-minded area organizations and businesses set up various types of free activities. It’s a fun-filled event for children of all ages and children at heart!

Your contribution to the Festival will support the vital Eco-educational programs and services of Friends of Balcones Canyonlands NWR. Special Thanks to last year’s sponsors!
